Hungarian entrepreneur Arie Yom Tov cordially invites dressage riders from all levels for two back-to-back CDI's at Stable Unikornis in Pilisjaszfalu near Budapest, Hungary in May.

Pilisjaszfalu will host the third and last leg of the 2024 FEI Nations Cup series and CPEDI on 8 - 12 May 2024. The week afterwards a Central European League World Cup qualifier .

Strengthening the Central European Region

By hosting two CDI's in a row Yom Tov supports the Central European Dressage Group (CED), an association of CDI organizers from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland, which aim to strengthen dressage sport in Central Europe.

The CED is now operating in its seventh year and Pilisjaszfalu has been a central location for the promotion of dressage sport as the serial host of European Youth Championships between 2020 and 2023, World Cup qualifiers, FEI Nations Cup legs, and numerous CDI's.

Furthermore it has not only boosted top sport dressage but always promoted the sport from the ground up by including CDI classes for young horses, youth riders (ponies to U25) and even para sport.

Great Opportunity

The two back-to-back CDI's in May offer a great opportunity for riders to avoid much travelling and compete at the same, high quality venue for an extended period of time. They will gain experience, mileage and scores without stressing horses with too much transport.

"It will be a great opportunity to compete two weekends with two nice, different high-quality groups of judges," Arie stated.  "Our stable offers nice conditions and I invested and improved the footing even more to give it better quality for horses and riders. Also the movable boxes will have the special gummi covering on the floor and, of course, the stallions get the permanent boxes."

Both CDI's on 8 - 12 May and 14 - 18 May offer the full programme of classes from young horses level through the youth tests and with a small and big tour.

Olympic Scores

Olympic team qualification and MER scores can be achieved at these two shows.

The ground jury for the first CDIO weekend includes Susanne Baarup, Jeannette Wolfs, Isobel Wessels, Alban Tissot, Adriaan Hamoen, Thomas Kessler, and Carlos Lopes.

On the CDI-W weekend Maarten Van Der Heijden, Eduard De Wolff Van Westerrode, Leif Toernblad, Peter Holler,  Eva-maria Vint-warmington, Maria Colliander, Trond Asmyr, Jacques Van Daele, and William Warren will be officiating.

Para Sport Integrated
Great competition opportunities for CDI and CPEDI riders

Yom Tov has embraced inclusivity in equestrian sport and for the second, consecutive year he is staging a CPEDI integrated in the CDI-W show weekend on 14 - 18 May 2024.

"Combining the para classes into the able-bodied competition was an amazing success last year," said Arie proudly.  "The riders were thrilled to watch the para competition which they normally don't get a chance to. They expressed their respect for integrating the CPEDI into the CDI and the para riders were very proud to have an audience watching them."

The FEI Schedules can be viewed here (week 1) and here (week 2).
